Dr. Michelle Parker came to Seneca Academy in July 2016, and has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She has previous experience in a variety of educational leadership and counseling roles with preschool through college-age students, most recently as the Coordinator of Counseling Services at the Sidwell Friends School. Dr. Parker is passionate about understanding the role that schools play as “part of the village” in raising children. She speaks frequently to area parents and schools on a wide range of topics, including “Parenting in the Digital Age” and “The Neuroscience of Learning.” Dr. Parker has three college-age children and lives with her husband in Washington D.C.
