As part of the prekindergarten fours' Unit of Inquiry about community helpers, and kindergarten's Unit of Inquiry about animals, we had a visit from one of our parents who is a veterinarian! She talked with students about different ways she cares for animals, both pets and those on her farm, and she brought BABY GOATS! Students fed the goats, listened to their hearts, learned new things, and generally enjoyed being able to pet and learn about such adorable four-legged friends.
